creating soulbound items to send

Pretty much the best way I can put it. trying to make an item that can be sent and is soulbound to another person.. so far I've unchecked "May be traded" and I can't send it to people but I can have it in my inventory which makes 0 sense to me since I shouldn't need to make items that I don't wanna share and no one can see (unless im trying to add states).

Basically I'm trying to send someone through mail or trade a item I've created that is soulbound to someone else (where they can't trade it around).

also what is send information when you ctrl+click a item in the item creation section, I've tried to send people information and it doesn't work or I have no idea what it does.

I don't understand the problem. :o
If you uncheck "May be traded" the item will be bound on pick-up, like any soulbound Wow item.

Unlike you say, it make sense to have bound item with TRP, like items used in TRP quests ...etc.

There is no "bound when used" with TRP items.

I guess my problem is, the only way I see to send an item is putting it in your own inventory then send it as parcel by ctrl+clicking, if may be traded is unchecked then its bound to you as soon as you put it in your inventory which makes the item where you can't send a parcel. (sending an item from your creations maybe? which I don't know how to do)

unless theirs a way to send an item other than putting it in your inventory, from what I read from the handbook you can only send items that you have in your inventory as parcel. I found a way around it by making an item that can be sent and giving an item that is untradeable, but that makes it where the other person can send the item.

Hopefully I explained it a bit better. I'm 100% sure im doing something wrong but I can't figure out what.

Yes, it's quite a problem actually ... Never though of that before ...

I don't see any workaround for now, sorry.

But I'll think about a solution.

How about creating a box that you can send, but when used disapear and add the wanted item (which is untradable) to the recipient inventory?
