Question regarding UI-interaction

I have a problem, well, more of an annoyance. I use X-Perl for raiding and PvP frames. The issue is that X-Perl, like most raiding UIs, uses custom player frames that don't allow a TRP bubble to pop up next to a selected player. I've been activating and deactivating X-Perl for "raid time" and "RP time", or having to directly go to the guide and look people up there. Is there an easier way to do this?
